    VEGAN BURGERS

Proving burgers don't have to clog the arteries. This amazing vegan burger recipe is from #TeamBulk ambassador @healthyliciousvegan, and whether you're vegan or just keen to cut down on the meat you eat, this one is for you.

Ingredients (makes 10 burgers)
cooked kidney beans / cooked Quinoa / red onion / garlic / beetroot / Instant Oats / Garlic & Herb Active Seasoning / Smoke & Spice Active Seasoning / Salt & pepper / Coconut Oil

Instructions

  • Blend the beans, beetroot, onion and garlic in a food processor
  • Add the mixture to a bowl and add all of the other ingredients, mixing well with your hands
  • Shape into 10 burger patties
  • Fry with some coconut oil until crispy
  • Build your burger with your preferred toppings, and enjoy!

This vegan burger is packed with 18g of protein. Perfect to eat solo or stacked to the heavens with all your favourite things.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1. Blend lentils with all wet ingredients and flaxegg in a high speed blender, and pour mixture into a bowl.
  • 2. ....
  • 3. Mold into 6 chunky....
  • 4. ....
  • 5. ....
  • 6. Sizzle for several minutes on each ....
We had ours with some gluten free burger buns, vegan cheese slices, lettuce, tomato and of course fried onions.

LOADED VEGAN BURGER -

    Vegan Waffle

The Muscle Baker is at it again, this time with a Vegan Waffle Recipe. If you haven't tried our Vegan Protein Blend™ now is the perfect time to give it a go. Alternatively, if you're not feeling the Vegan vibe, Micellar Casein can be used as a protein substitute.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • 1. Mix milk and vinegar together and set aside.
  • 2. In a bowl mix together all your dry ingredients until combined. Then, fold in your wet ingredients until you get a thick batter.
  • 3. Heat up waffle machine as per instructions. If you have never made waffles before add less batter rather than more. Add batter when green light goes off, then wait until green light goes off again to open waffle machine to remove waffle.
  • 4. Note: If your waffle has a temperature setting, start at a lower heat then build it up.
  • 5. Repeat until all batter is used up.
  • 6. Pile them up on a plate, add your favourite Zero Calorie Syrup™ and ENJOY!

    CRANBERRY & DATE VEGAN FLAPJACK

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1. Preheat oven to 160 Degrees C.
  • 2. Add vegan spread to a saucepan and melt on a low heat for 2-4 minutes. Once fully melted take off heat and mix porridge oats and muesli until all is covered.
  • 3. Mix together protein powder with almond milk with a fork until there are no lumps.
  • 4. Add all the remaining ingredients into a bowl with the sticky oats and mix thoroughly.
  • 5. On a lined baking tray, pour mixture evenly and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden around the edges.
  • 6. Leave to cool completely then divide the flapjack into 9 equal squares.
Note: The flapjack is best eaten within 48 hours of baking.

    VEGAN FRENCH TOAST

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1. In a blender, chuck in all the ingredients (except for the bread) and blitz everything together.
  • 2. Leave to set for 10 minutes so that the chia seeds can activate (soak up moisture) and then pour into a bowl.
  • 3. Heat up a pan on high-medium heat using spray oil or coconut oil. Dip the bread in the mix quickly, and then pan fry for several minutes on each side.
    Please note: you want the dipping of the bread to be quick and fast, else your bread will remain soggy.
  • 4. Repeat for all slices and then share with your best friend.
